Throughout
the mid-eighties one of the hottest "party" bands
to frequent Carleton University or Algonquin College was a band
called The Riffs. Bill Hein played lead guitar for this band
and was known for his blistering improvisations. During the
last few years Bill has also pursued several solo recording
projects. Although the proud owner of seven guitars, his favorite
is his Fender Stratocaster. Bill's style is influenced by the
talents of Eric Clapton, James Burton, and Carlos Santana. |
